MadVR + compatible player of choice (MPC is my pick, potplayer is alright also) gets the best image quality for sure, it leverages better upscaling and downscaling algorithms at the expense of using more GPU power (which is normally barely used in playback), and it does better conversion of 10 bit video into an 8 bit color space. I've looked up bunch of sites as well and rankings it was same as this conclusion. good for those with good graphics cards, make it look better I think idk, I might try Vlc in future, nevertheless one thing's for sure, potplayer, vlc and mpc(or mpv) are best media players as of 2019. Thank you all I've decided I'll be using potplayer, it has dramatically more speed and features compared to kmplayer, and is super easy and ready to use you can also have multiple instances of it opened at once unlike kmplayer and you can use built in menu to easily change skins and themes and colors however you like unlike vlc, I also noticed pot has some sort of dx11 feature.
